Greg Smith

Greg is currently the President of CIV Ventures, a venture capital firm located in New York. CIV Ventures was formed in 2003 as a spinout of Corning Incorporated. Before forming CIV Ventures, Greg formed Corning Innovation Ventures as a VP of Corning Incorporated. Greg served in a variety of positions within Corning Incorporated for 20 years. Greg served as GM of the Photonic Device business after forming the group as a business development manager through a series of M&A transactions and leading a final $6B transaction
