Andrea Wesser-Brawner

Andrea Wesser-Brawner's work experience includes serving as the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at Seminole County Government starting in June 2023. Before that, they were the Assistant Vice President of Special Projects at CareerSource Central Florida from September 2022 to May 2023. Andrea also worked at Orange County Government, where they held roles as a Senior Consultant from June to August 2022, and as the Chief Innovation and Emerging Technologies Officer from November 2019 to August 2022. In addition, they were the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships at InBIA, International Business Innovation Association from April 2017 to November 2019. Andrea was the CEO of IMPACTA inc. from December 2015 to July 2017 and worked as a Business Development and Government Specialist at Occam Technology Group from November 2015 to July 2017. Prior to that, they were the Associate Director of Business Development at the International Consortium for Advanced Manufacturing Research from September 2014 to December 2015. Andrea also had a role as an Associate Director at UCF Office of Research and Commercialization from August 2012 to October 2014. Earlier in their career, they were the CEO of PharmAcute, LLC from July 2011 to September 2014 and the Business Development Manager at Venture Lab from August 2007 to July 2012.

Andrea Wesser-Brawner completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida from 2000 to 2004. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education and obtained a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida from 2005 to 2008.
