Geoff Morbey

Geoff Morbey has extensive work experience in the rail industry. Geoff started their career in 2002 as the Director of Rail Infrastructure at the British Columbia Rapid Transit Company. In July 2023, they transitioned to SEMP as the Rail Operations Director. Their role at SEMP is currently ongoing.

Geoff Morbey completed the UBC Leadership Program in Business Administration, Management and Operations at UBC Sauder School of Business in 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Athabasca University between 2011 and 2014, specializing in Business Administration and Management. In terms of additional certifications, they became a member of the Institute of Asset Management in September 2017. Additionally, they obtained the Applied Science Technologist certification from ASTTBC Technology Professionals in August 1999.
