Lukas Welser

Lukas Welser has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Lukas currently serves as the Group Head of Marketing at SEMPERIT AG, a position they have held since April 2021. Prior to this role, Lukas worked at Welser Gesundheitsmanagement as a Project Manager, focusing on implementing BGM & EHS strategies from August 2020 to June 2021. From March 2017 to June 2020, they served as the Director of Marketing at EGLO Leuchten GmbH. Before that, Lukas worked as a Senior Consultant in Innovation Management at Consulting Mag. Kollar GmbH from May 2014 to February 2017. Lukas also has experience in senior roles at GE Power, where they served as a Senior Innovation Manager from February 2013 to April 2014, and as a Strategic Marketing Leader from March 2010 to January 2013. Lukas also held several positions at IBS Paper Performance Group, including Managing Director Brasil from August 2006 to February 2008, Head of Internal Services from May 2005 to August 2006, and Marketing Manager from January 2004 to April 2005. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Scientific Assistant at the Austrian Science Fund FWF for a brief period in 2003. Lukas has also contributed their expertise as a Scientific Collaborator at ASA Armenian Sociological Association in 2002 and as a Marketing Manager at Jaffer Business Systems (JBS) and Pilkington in 2001 and 1999 respectively.

Lukas Welser's education history begins in 1998 when they enrolled in a Lehrgang Public Relation (Öffentlichkeitsarbeit) at WIFI Steiermark. The following year, in 1999, they pursued an Auslandsstudium in Internationales Marketing at the Sasin School of Management. In 2000, they continued their studies abroad, this time at The University of Hong Kong, where they focused on Internationales Marketing. From 1997 to 2003, Welser attended Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, where they obtained a Magister degree in Internationale Wirtschaftswissenschaften. In 2003, Lukas Welser completed a Lehrgang Werbung und Marktkommunikation at WIFI Steiermark. Finally, in 2008, they attended the Mannheim Business School, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
