Mircea Ciobanu

Mircea Ciobanu is an experienced professional in strategic procurement and sales within the rubber and oil & gas sectors. Currently serving as the Global Lead Buyer for Synthetic & Natural Rubber at SEMPERIT AG since July 2022, Mircea previously held positions including Manager of Sales at SIBUR International GmbH and Sales Development Manager at Total, managing significant sales and technical projects. With a Master of Engineering in Polymers Engineering from INSA Lyon, Mircea has also gained valuable experience as an Engineering Project Manager Assistant at Plastic Omnium and has undergone various roles from factory assistance to sales training in earlier career stages.
