Kristi Khong

Kristi Khong has a comprehensive work experience in various roles in the finance and project management field. Kristi started their career as an Operations/Financial Controller at SCIENCE APPLICATIONS INTERNATIONAL CORP., where they provided guidance on accounting, budgeting, and reporting for multiple divisions and rate pools. Kristi then moved on to San Diego Gas & Electric, where they managed a capital projects portfolio of $300 million to $500 million, influencing strategic decision-making and performance measurement goals. Currently, Kristi is working at Sempra Energy as a Principal in different roles, including Credit Risk Management and Strategic Project Controls. In these roles, they perform credit analyses, evaluates counterparties' creditworthiness, and oversees capital projects worth over $900 million.

Kristi Khong holds a Master's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Redlands, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University between 1990 and 1995.
