Yulia Kondratenko

Yulia Kondratenko has gained diverse work experience in various roles related to data analysis and science. Yulia is currently employed at Semrush as a Data Analyst, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Yandex as a Data Analyst from April 2020 to May 2022, where they analyzed experiment results in a taxi driver app and explored declined orders. Yulia also served as a Data Scientist at Saint Petersburg State University from July 2017 to December 2019, leading a project on metagenomics research and developing a pipeline for microbial counts generation. Before that, they worked at InsideDNA as a Data Scientist from January 2016 to October 2016, where they reproduced bioinformatics papers and suggested interface improvements. Yulia started their career as a freelance Science Writer from February 2013 to November 2015, publishing numerous articles and digests of biological research.

Yulia Kondratenko's education history begins with their completion of a Specialist degree in Biochemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) during the period of 2009-2014. Following this, they enrolled in the Bioinformatics Institute from 2016-2017, where they pursued studies in the field of Bioinformatics. In addition to their formal education, Yulia has obtained several certifications. In August 2018, they completed the "Машинное обучение и анализ данных Specialization" from Coursera. Yulia further expanded their knowledge by completing the "Advanced Machine Learning Specialization" from Coursera in August 2019. Finally, in December 2022, they successfully obtained a certification in the "Data-driven Product Management Simulator" from GoPractice, Inc.
