Ian Butler

Ian Butler is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Send since January 2019, Ian also established and leads Digitise My Life Ltd, a consultancy firm specializing in software solutions. Previous positions include roles at Barclays UK, where Ian contributed as a Designer/Analyst/Team Lead for a microservices project, and at App55, where significant advancements in online payment technology were achieved. Ian has a solid background in technical leadership, system design, and process improvement, with earlier experiences at Tyco Electronics and Mannings (Southport). Ian holds a PhD and a B.Sc. (1st Class Hons) in Experimental Physics from The University of Manchester.
