Johan Helgius

Johan Helgius has extensive experience in finance and accounting roles. Johan is currently working at Sendify as the Director of Finance starting in September 2022. Prior to this, Johan worked at Budbee as the Interim Finance Director from April 2022 to September 2022, where they were responsible for the Finance function, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting. Before that, they served as the Head of Accounting at Budbee from October 2021 to April 2022. Johan also worked at Bambuser as the Head of Accounting from March 2021 to October 2021, and as the Acting CFO from April 2021 to August 2021. Johan has experience in managing accounting operations and financial functions within companies. Johan previously worked at Soundtrack Your Brand as the Head of Accounting from June 2017 to March 2021, and at EY as a Manager in the Nordic Insourcing Services department from March 2016 to June 2017. Johan also has experience from Deloitte Sweden, where they worked as an Assistant Manager in Business Process Solutions from June 2011 to March 2016, with involvement in areas such as accounting, financial control, management reporting, and process optimization. Johan also had internal secondments at Deloitte's Global Employer Services division and M&A Transaction Services division, where they gained experience in tax compliance and advisory assistance, and sell-side due diligence projects, respectively.

Johan Helgius began their education in 2002 at Göteborgs Högere Samskola, where they studied an unspecified field of study with no degree conferred. In 2007, they attended Linköping University, where they obtained a M.Sc. in Business Administration with a focus on Management Control, Finance, and German until 2011. In 2010, Johan briefly studied Business, Finance, and Management at the University of Hamburg. The following year, they participated in the Deloitte BPS Graduate Program in Business Administration and Management at Henley Business School from 2011 to 2013. Johan also spent a year at Paderborn University from 2009 to 2010, studying Business, HRM, Strategy, and German.
