Claire Tran 👩🏻💻

Claire Tran has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles. Claire is currently the Director of Engineering at Sendle since 2021. Prior to that, Claire worked at SafetyCulture from 2020 to 2021 as an Engineering Manager, leading cross-functional teams and overseeing product development, including the iAuditor sensor launch. Before that, they were an Engineering Manager and Team Lead at Expert360 from 2018 to 2020, where they managed product development teams and drove technical excellence.

Claire also has experience in performance engineering, having worked as a Senior Full Stack Application Performance Engineer at Gumtree Australia in 2017. Claire previously worked at Gumtree.com in London from 2015 to 2017, leading technical projects and driving architectural improvements.

Additionally, Claire has held roles as a Technical Lead at CDI Apps for Good in 2015 and as a Solutions Lead and Technical Lead at Fairfax Media from 2012 to 2014, where they worked on digital subscriptions, membership systems, and drove user engagement.

Their earlier experience includes a role as a Java Software Developer at Stayz from 2011 to 2012, where they worked on migrating platforms and improving test coverage. Claire also worked as a Java Developer at Prospection in 2010 and as a Java Software Web Developer at Fairfax Digital from 2007 to 2010.

Claire Tran attended the University of Sydney from 2002 to 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (Software) Honours degree. Their field of study was focused on software.
