Nicole Finnegan began their career in 2015 as an Intern at Essential Health, where they were involved in the building of the website as well as the branding of the company. In 2016, they were hired as a Marketing Coordinator at Essential Health, utilizing professional communication skills when providing social media and website growth progress reports. In 2017, they joined ResortsandLodges.com as a Digital Marketing Manager and a Marketing Coordinator, where they optimized SEO for clients' websites, created and managed PPC campaigns, kept track of campaigns in Google Analytics, and helped with retargeting ads. In 2018, they started their own business, Finn Marketing Studio, focusing on a company's digital presence and finding ways to stand out among the noise. In 2020, they joined SendSquared as the Director of Customer Success, helping vacation rentals, hotels, and resorts integrate their communication platforms into one place to analyze guest insights and engagement.

Nicole Finnegan attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing Communications.
