Dorcas Cherono

Dorcas Cherono is a Junior Frontend Engineer at Sendy. Dorcas previously worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Sendy Ltd from April 2021 to July 2021. There, they were responsible for designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems. Prior to that, they worked as a Systems Developer at Systems Reengineered Ltd from August 2019 to March 2020 where they gathered user requirements on new and existing clients, modeled and analyzed the System based gathered requirements, designed and implemented web portals using .NET frameworks, performed daily backups and recovery in SQL server, and integrated Dynamics Navision with third party solutions.

Dorcas Cherono began their educational career by studying software development at Moringa School, a school specializing in information technology. Dorcas then went on to earn their bachelor's degree in software engineering from Kisii University.

Dorcas Cherono reports to Vaneyck Seme, Sr Backend Engineer. Dorcas Cherono works with Kelvin Kosgei - Mobile Engineer, Lewis Muema - Junior Frontend Engineer, and Anthony Ngethe - Android Engineer.
