Radha Krishnan

Radha Krishnan is the current CIO at Seneca College. Prior to their current position, they served as the Director IT at United Way of Greater Toronto from February 2010 to May 2013. In their role at United Way of Greater Toronto, they were responsible for Technical and Project management leadership to deliver transformative business solutions for United Way of Greater Toronto, which is the largest non-governmental supporter of social services in the region.

During their time at United Way of Greater Toronto, they developed a 5-year IT transformation strategic business plan which was widely appreciated and accepted by the board for implementation. In addition, they re-engineered IT services by virtualizing all servers and moved to a tier-3 data centre. Radha also re-architected one of the largest online fundraising systems in Canada and grew it by over 50% in 3 years. Furthermore, they effectively delivered value and savings with e-commerce and Business Intelligence IT shared services for 12 United Ways across North America. Radha also delivered PCI compliance and successfully managed stringent security requirements of the Big 5 Canadian banks to run integrated workplace fundraising campaigns. Lastly, they successfully completed $6 million ERP system replacement of 15-year old legacy system from product selection to full on-time and on-budget project delivery. This delivered an integrated ERP experience by replacing over 25 home grown applications.

Radha Krishnan has a PMP from the Project Management Institute and a PG Diploma in Information Systems from the National Institute of Information Technology. Radha also holds a B.Sc in Chemistry from Bharathidasan University.
