Serenela Felea

Serenela Felea, BA, CHRL, is an experienced HR professional specializing in benefits management. Currently serving as Benefits Manager for Executive & Retiree Benefits at TD since April 2022, Serenela previously held the role of HR Manager for TD Insurance & Retiree Benefits. Serenela has been actively involved with the HRPA since April 2015, serving as Chair of the Continuing Professional Development Committee and mentoring through the Toronto Chapter's MentorCity program. Engagement in mentorship extends to other organizations, including ACCES Employment and Seneca College. Prior experience includes a management position in Human Resources, Benefits Programs & Pension Plans at Foresters Financial, where Serenela oversaw group benefits and pension plans administration. Educational background includes a Post-graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Seneca Polytechnic and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Literature from West University of Timisoara.
