Tina Cortese

Tina Cortese is an experienced academic and media executive with a diverse background in journalism and education. Currently serving as Academic Chair and Professor at Seneca Polytechnic since 2013, Tina has also worked as a media executive since June 2012. Notable positions include Station Manager at 105.9FM THE REGION, Professor at Durham College, and Contract Lecturer at Toronto Metropolitan University. Tina's extensive media experience encompasses roles such as Radio News Anchor at CFRB 1010 AM, Radio News Director/Anchor at Corus Radio, and General Manager at Citytv Toronto, where responsibilities included managing a large news budget and staff. Tina holds a Master of Education degree from Ontario Tech University and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Radio and Television from Ryerson University.
