Paul M. Palz currently serves as the VP, Corporate Controller at SenesTech. Prior to this, they were the VP Corporate Controller at Horizon Pharma from September 2010 to October 2014. In this role, they were responsible for day-to-day accounting, treasury and working capital management, SEC, Board and investor compliance reporting, operations, month-end close activities including consolidation of multiple domestic and international business units and foreign currency translation for the pharmaceutical company. Paul reported directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

During their time at Horizon Pharma, Paul made several accomplishments. Paul implemented Navision (a Microsoft Dynamics general ledger financial system including planning, selection, installation and data conversion). Paul also played an integral role in supporting the CFO in the initial public offering and subsequent secondary offering (S-1 and subsequent SEC reporting) of the Company’s stock. In addition, they negotiated, executed and integrated the acquisition of products and businesses (including reverse merger (inversion) of an Irish entity as well as operational integration subsequent to closing of these transactions). Furthermore, they developed and standardized financials, Board and SEC reporting processes resulting in timely month end management and Board reporting, as well as timely filing of SEC Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Form 3, Form 4 and other required regulatory reports. Lastly, they assisted in the FDA approval and commercial launch of two product candidates including FDA correspondence, selling and marketing plans, staffing and commercial organization design and compensation
