Melanie Chad is an experienced Human Resources professional currently serving as the People and Culture Manager at Senex Energy since July 2023. Previously, Melanie worked at Megaport as the Interim Head of People & Culture and earlier as the Head of Business Partnering from February 2021 to July 2023. Before that, Melanie held the role of Human Resources Consultant at Glencore from May 2020 to February 2021. During a significant tenure at Peninsula Petroleum from October 2013 to March 2020, Melanie was the Global Head of Human Resources, overseeing HR operations in 25 countries. Melanie's experience at Rio Tinto, spanning from February 2005 to February 2013, included various HR roles, culminating in the position of HR Shared Services Manager, responsible for national recruitment operations and team leadership. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Business degree from James Cook University, earned between 1997 and 1999.
