Matt Gurwell

Matt Gurwell serves as the Administrator of the "Beyond Driving with Dignity" program and Franchise Business Consultant at Senior Care Authority® since April 2021. Prior to this role, Matt Gurwell was the Founder and CEO of Keeping Us Safe, LLC, from November 2008 to April 2021, focusing on solutions for older drivers and their families. Matt Gurwell has extensive experience in law enforcement as the Assistant District Commander with the Ohio State Highway Patrol from 1981 to 2005, and has held instructional positions at Lakeland Community College and Clark State Community College. Additionally, Matt Gurwell served as a Flight Operations Specialist in the Ohio Air National Guard from 1980 to 1986. Education includes an Administrative Officer's Course from the University of Louisville and a Business Administration certificate from The Disney Institute, which is currently being pursued.
