RN Care Manager/SCO Program at Senior Whole Health, LLC

Barbara Callahan has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. BARBARA started their career as a hospital-based RN and VNA RN at Massachusetts General Hospital and various Boston area hospitals from May 1985 to April 1991. BARBARA then worked as an ICU/CCU RN at Whidden Memorial Hospital from June 1991 to June 1998. Barbara joined Minuteman Senior Services in June 1998 as an ASAP RN, where they provided care management for seniors. In 2006, they joined Senior Whole Health as an RN Care Manager/SCO Program, focusing on elderly individuals on MassHealth in the Lawrence/Methuen/Haverhill/Lowell areas. Their responsibilities included prevention, teaching, and transitions of care, using their proficiency in MassHealth and Medicare regulations, MDS submission, Medicaid and ASAP programs, and coordination of care with PCP's, GSSC's, and Care Management team. Barbara also demonstrated proficiency in using CaseTrakker for their work.

Barbara Callahan completed their education from 1981 to 1985 at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Registered Nursing, with a focus on Nursing Administration, Nursing Research, and Clinical Nursing.
