Gregor Leban

Gregor Leban is the CEO of Event Registry, an AI platform specializing in global event and risk detection, providing real-time alerts and analytics to numerous clients since January 2017. Additionally, Gregor serves as a Partner at Senira Solutions and Quintelligence while working as a Research Consultant for Bloomberg LP, focusing on developing algorithms for extracting facts from financial texts. With an extensive academic background, including a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Ljubljana, Gregor has held various research roles, particularly in artificial intelligence and data mining, at institutions like the Jozef Stefan Institute and the University of Ljubljana. Prior experience includes owning Sarasvati d.o.o., software development at Optilab, and contributions to the XPERO European Project, emphasizing expertise in machine learning and web development.
