Dr. Rüdiger Hein

Dr. Rüdiger Hein has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Dr. Rüdiger most recently served as the Director Group IT at Sennheiser starting in October 2022. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2022, they worked at TRUMPF as the Head of Digital Platforms + Operations, overseeing the strategic development of digitization and IT production for 70 subsidiaries worldwide. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Head of IT Operations at Axel Springer SE, responsible for managing IT production and digital workplaces. Before that, they worked as the Head Of Project Management at Bauer Media Group, leading commercial business intelligence projects and managing a team of project managers. Dr. Hein also had a sabbatical in 2011. Earlier in their career, they were the Head of Editorial Systems at Axel Springer SE and a Programm-Manager Business Intelligence at Devoteam, where they led various projects and implemented data warehouse and business intelligence solutions.

Dr. Rüdiger Hein received their Dr.-Ingenieur degree in Technische Informatik from Helmut-Schmidt-Universität/Universität der Bundeswehr Hamburg from 1995 to 1999. Dr. Rüdiger also obtained a Dipl.-Wirtschaftsingenieur degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from the same institution from 1991 to 1995. In 2013 and 2014, they pursued further education at the Institute of Project Management, earning a Project Management Professional (PMP) degree.
