Emily Zakkak

Emily Zakkak is a Security Engineer at Sennovate, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of SOC systems while driving improvements in processes and mentoring team members. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from San Diego State University, where enrollment continues until 2024. In addition to current roles as a member of Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) and Cyber Defense Team at SDSU, Emily is a Cybersecurity Enthusiast on TryHackMe and a Staff Writer for Reinvented Magazine, which promotes girls in STEM. Prior experience includes serving as an IoT Cybersecurity Researcher at Digital Innovation Lab and a Math Instructor at Mathnasium.
