Umabalan Markkandu

Umabalan Markkandu is a Project Executive specializing in wind projects at Senok Group since February 2021. Previously, Markkandu served as Head of Academics at the International Automobile Engineering Training Institute from October 2019 to January 2021, and as Deputy Principal/Academics at the Sri Lanka - German Training Institute from September 2015 to October 2019. In these roles, responsibilities included overseeing academic affairs, maintaining high academic standards, managing recruitment for various programs, and supporting the Principal in institutional goals. Markkandu holds a Master of Science in Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Greenwich and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of South Wales.
