Andy Lake has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Andy started their career at KPMG as an Auditor and then moved to Telstra, where they held various roles in Corporate Planning, Marketing, and Product Development. At Telstra, they played a significant role in the start-up and success of their Internet business, CLEAR Net. Following this, they joined Smartone as the General Manager of Internet Services, where they established the Wireless Broadband division. Andy then worked at CLP as the Operations Director, where they established and managed various functions for the fast-growing ISP. Andy also co-founded Global Orient Asia Ltd, focusing on Asian market entry and penetration for telecoms and internet organizations. At Symantec Cloud Services, they held the positions of Sales & Operations Director Asia and Director of Partners, Asia Pacific, managing the Asia business and establishing the Channel Function. Andy later joined Websense as the General Manager of SaaS/Cloud Security Asia Pacific before joining Aconex as the General Manager of Asia, where they played a key role in the growth and success of the cloud SaaS and mobile collaboration platform. At Oracle, they served as the Area Vice President for Australia & New Zealand and then for Asia, leading successful sales teams and driving growth and expansion strategies. Currently, Andy is the Chief Operating Officer at Sensat.

Andy Lake attended Massey University, Central Institute of Technology, and Stanford University from 1987 to 1990. Andy obtained a BBS (Finance & Accountancy) degree and an NZCE (Telecommunications) degree. Andy'sfield of study included business, finance and accounting, as well as engineering. Additionally, Andy obtained a CA certification from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 1993. Andy also pursued studies at the Arthur C. Rock School of Governance (Combined Law and Business Schools) at Stanford University, though the specific dates and degree obtained are unknown.
