Antoan Tonev

Antoan Tonev has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Antoan started their career as an Intern at Mercedes-Benz AG, where they supported the Development engineers in their daily work. Antoan then moved on to the University of Stuttgart, where they worked as a Research Assistant, executing 0D/1D-CFD Simulations for various German OEMs and also leading student activities. Antoan then joined FKFS as an R&D Project Engineer, conducting 0D/1D-CFD simulations for engine fuel consumption optimization. Antoan spent one year as a resident Simulation engineer at Audi AG during this role. Following that, Antoan joined FE-DESIGN GmbH, where they worked as an Engineer supporting the Optimization tool TOSCA Structure development. Currently, Antoan is working at Sensata Technologies, first as a Senior Design Engineer, then as a Design Engineering Supervisor, and now as a Senior Lead Design Engineer. In these roles, they are responsible for the technical development of pressure sensors used in automotive applications, leading teams, and managing project execution.

Antoan Tonev received a High School Diploma from High school Asen Zlatarov in Haskovo, Bulgaria between 1997 and 2002. Antoan then pursued a degree in Automotive Engineering Technology at the University of Stuttgart, earning a Dipl.-Ing. from 2002 to 2009.
