Kurt Heberling has had a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Kurt began their career in 1984 as a Draftsman in Engineering Detailing at Premier Engineering. Kurt then worked as a Draftsman in Component Design at Premier Engineering in 1985 and as a Draftsman in Product Design at Getrag in 1986. In 1987, they served as a Technician in Product Development at Getrag. Kurt continued to grow their career at Getrag and held roles such as Development Engineer, Resident Engineer, and Project Manager at different locations. In 1993, they joined BorgWarner as a Program Engineer and held various positions including Launch Manager, Chief Engineer, and Director of Program Management. Kurt then moved to Dana Holding Company in 2009 as the Director of Supply Chain Continuous Improvement. Kurt joined Nexteer Automotive in 2011 and worked in roles such as Enterprise Commodity Manager, Director of Global Supplier Quality & Development, and Executive Director of Supplier Quality & Development. Most recently, they have been working at Sensata Technologies as the Sr Director Global Supplier Quality. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated skills in supplier development, global processes and systems, program management, and technical support.

Kurt Heberling attended the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2008, where they studied Managing in a Global Organization. In 2005, they took courses in Effective Negotiating at Karass Negotiation I & II. From 1983 to 1988, Kurt Heberling earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
