Hannah Bast is an experienced social worker currently employed at SENSE Charter School since February 2022. Prior to this role, Hannah served as Program Director and Program Manager at Back on My Feet from July 2018 to February 2022. Earlier in the career, Hannah worked as a Life Skills Specialist at Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. from July 2015 to July 2018. Hannah holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Indianapolis, earned between 2019 and 2021, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the same institution, completed in 2015.

SENSE Charter School
SENSE was founded in 2003 as a K-3 school with the purpose of providing educational options for families living on the southeast side of Indianapolis. A lot has changed over the past 18 years, but the vision and passion of the school has remained the same. Today, SENSE serves over 600 students ranging from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The school is dedicated to providing the best education possible for our kids through hands-on instruction, multi-disciplinary learning, highly qualified teachers, and structured after school programming, including award winning sports, robotics, Glee Club, tutoring, and various art clubs. At SENSE, we believe the arts are important in helping spark out students' curiosity and creativity. We think healthy minds mean healthier students.
