Syed Anwar

Syed Anwar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as an Executive Engineer at DVCOM LDI (PVT) Limited. Following that, they served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Fellow at the University of Sheffield from 2008 to 2012. From 2012 to 2018, they held the position of Assistant Professor at UET Taxila. Syed then became an Associate Professor at the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila in 2018. In 2019, Anwar was a Fulbright Fellow at the University of Central Florida. In 2020, they co-founded and served as the CTO of Sense Digital. In 2022, they became an Associate Professor at The George Washington University and a Principal Investigator at Children's National Hospital. Syed co-founded EcoEdge AI in 2023 and assumed the role of CTO.

Syed Anwar has a strong educational background in the field of engineering. Syed first pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, during the years 2002 to 2005. Subsequently, they continued their studies at the University of Sheffield, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Data Communication from 2006 to 2007. Building on this foundation, Syed Anwar then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Sheffield between 2008 and 2011.
