Alex Rückheim has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Alex is currently working as the Head of Innovation at Sense Worldwide, a company that helps people innovate. Prior to this, they held the role of Associate Director - Insight & Innovation at the same company. Before joining Sense Worldwide, Alex worked as a Senior Consultant - Insight & Innovation, where they applied cognitive diversity to innovation challenges by seeking perspectives from the edges of culture. Alex also served as a Cultural Strategist at Sense Worldwide.

In 2020, Alex founded a social enterprise called "Buy less but better." which promotes the idea of buying fewer but higher-quality products.

In addition to their entrepreneurial ventures, Alex has experience in academia as an Associate Lecturer at the University of the Arts London and Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design. Alex focuses on topics such as behavioral trends in marketing and research methodologies.

Alex also founded GOODS WE LIKE, a product curation platform based on the principles of good design.

Alex has worked as a Behavioral Analyst at Canvas8, an independent behavioral insights agency, where they assisted with editorial and strategic research projects. Alex also has experience as an International Research Executive at Flamingo, a global insight and strategy consultancy, and as a Social Media Manager at MAY Concepts, a communications agency specializing in fashion, design, media, and lifestyle.

Alex's early career includes roles as the Co-Founder of SIMON&ME and as a Product Developer Apparel at Y-3 | adidas x Yohji Yamamoto.

Alex Rückheim earned a Bachelor's Degree in B.Tech. International Fashion & Management from Amsterdam Fashion Institute, completing the program from 2010 to 2014. In 2013, they also participated in an Exchange Program at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Additionally, Alex pursued a Master's Degree in M.A. Strategic Marketing at the University of the Arts London from 2014 to 2015.
