Israa Sharkia

Israa Sharkia is a seasoned professional in the field of biomedical sciences, currently serving as Co-Founder and VP of R&D at Senseera since August 2020. Prior to this role, Israa completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship and served as a Teaching Assistant at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from October 2015 to December 2020. Earlier experience includes functioning as a Lab Instructor at Belmonte Science Laboratories Center from October 2012 to October 2013 and working as an Instructor and Guide with Friends of Jerusalem Botanical Gardens during 2011-2012. Israa's educational background encompasses a PhD and MSc in Biomedical Sciences, specializing in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Biology obtained from the same institution.
