Jeff Goshorn

An active cyclist from CA who has lived across the West Coast from the beaches of the Hawaiian Islands to the mountains of Washington State, Jeff Goshorn joins Sensei Ag as a seasoned professional in operations and supply chain management for the domestic and international produce industries.

A veteran of the CPG market, Jeff began his career in sales, business development and marketing for companies such as Dole and Del Monte Foods. Jeff then served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Independent Foods, LLC, a fruit supplier that was sold to Seneca Foods. Under Jeff’s leadership, Independent Foods vastly increased its export sales.

After his time at Independent Foods, Jeff was COO of Diana Fruit Company, a leading provider of maraschino cherries, which was also acquired by Seneca Foods. At Diana Fruit, Jeff was responsible for production, supply chain management and fruit origination.

Staying within the fruit industry, Jeff joined Scenic Fruit Company also as COO. At Scenic, a fresh and frozen organic berry producer, Jeff expanded the company’s marketing and sales efforts, increasing volume and visibility within the retail, food service and export channels.

Just prior to Sensei Ag, Jeff was Senior Vice President of Operations at Crop One Holdings, Inc., a vertical farming company that owns FreshBox Farms in Millis, MA and a joint venture with Emirates Flight Catering in Dubai. When Jeff is not working on the next farm management tool or developing efficient workflows for his team, you can find him kayaking with his wife Cathy or spending time with his twin sons. Jeff earned his Bachelors in Business Administration from San Diego State University and his MBA in Food and Agribusiness from Santa Clara University.
