Pooneh Kalhorzadeh

Pooneh Kalhorzadeh, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Food Safety and Quality Assurance at Sensei Ag, a position held since June 2022. Previously, Pooneh worked at Great Northern Hydroponics from September 2019 to June 2022, holding multiple roles including PCQI, Vice President of Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs, and SQF Practitioner. Prior experience includes serving as a Biotechnologist at Great Lakes Greenhouses Inc. from 2017 to 2019, a Postdoctoral Fellow and Scholar Liaison at University Health Network from 2015 to 2017, and a PhD Scholar at Ghent University from 2009 to 2014. Pooneh holds a PhD in Biotechnology from Ghent University, as well as an MSc in Plant Breeding and a Bachelor's degree in Agronomy and Plant Breeding from the University of Tehran.
