Schedule: Monday - Friday (available on weekends as needed)
 
Rate of Pay: $27/hour
 
Position Description
The People Operations Coordinator will collaborate with all team member levels within the organization to challenge the status quo and bring the team member experience to the next level. The main focus of the role will be to support the overall People Operations function.  This role will contribute to the organization as an active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values.
 

Responsibilities

  • Think big, solve problems and get to the root of concerns, no matter how complex, be proactive and reactive in creating and implementing solutions.
  • Responsible for hiring and onboarding team members in our HRIS system, Paycom
  • Assist with general office duties including but not limited to, answering incoming calls, creating a welcoming environment for team members and visitors, and answering team member inquiries and walk-ins.
  • Complete accurate data entry and analysis on a consistent and timely basis.
  • Manage employment records, including but not limited to I-9s, personnel files, OSHA logs, benefit information and employment records.
  • Coordinate and execute people plans for team member recognition programs, employee relations, total rewards benefit programs, full-cycle recruitment, performance management and recruitment retention strategies.
  • Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality; maintain the integrity of the department and property at all times.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
  • Responds to all customer calls and requests in a diligent and courteous manner
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of the new hire orientation,
  • Assists with Uniforms,
  • Leadership – Maintain a positive, upbeat role, promote and exemplify Company values and represents departmental objectives and interests to internal and external customers
  • Customer Service – Follow up on complaints, questions, and concerns; respond to internal/external customer needs in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
  • Teamwork - Develop and promote teamwork and cooperation among co-workers
  • Safety – Comply with established safe work practices and attend to all safety-related training provided or made available by the Company.
  • Due to the intimate nature of the resort with limited number of guests on property, must assist teams laterally across all departments to lead a seamless guest flow throughout the different resort spaces
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Degree or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
Previous experience in Human Resources and Hospitality
Minimum of two (2) years coordinator experience required
Working knowledge of California employment laws, reporting requirements, unemployment insurance
Experience with Paycom, Greenhouse and Asana preferred
Bilingual, English/Spanish and Required Technical / Other Skills and Abilities
Excellent technology abilities in all Office applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and ability to quickly learn Asana, Microsoft Teams and other applications such as booking systems.
Previous luxury hotel experience preferred
