Alison Hussey has four years of work experience. Alison started their career in 2012 as a Head Sommelier at Allium Restaurant. In the same year, they also began working as a Judge for the Ottawa Wine & Food Show, scoring wines on a 100 point system and awarding medals to exemplary wines. In 2017, they began working at Atelier Restaurant, taking on roles as a Sommelier, Assistant Manager, and Head Server. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Customer Support Specialist at Sensei Labs.
Alison Hussey is currently pursuing a Diploma of Education in Full Stack Web Development from Lighthouse Labs, which they began in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2021. Alison has also obtained three additional certifications: a French Wine Scholar from the French Wine Society in April 2015, a Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Wine and Spirits from the WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust in August 2011, and a Level 2 Intermediate Certificate in Wine and Spirits from the WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust in January 2011.
