Mark Read, PMP

Mark Read, PMP has over 30 years of experience in the project management field, beginning in 1986 as a Project Manager at Credit Suisse First Boston. In 1995, they were promoted to AVP and Project Manager at Wells Fargo, where they managed IVRU and other Telephone Banking initiatives. Later, in 1997, they joined Nextera as a Project Manager. In 2000, they moved to Accordus as Director of the PMO, building and leading an enterprise PMO with a team of 100 developers, DBA's and architects. In 2002, they were a Senior Director at Caspian Consulting Group. In 2015, they joined Kaiser Permanente as Manager of the Project Management Office, where they managed a team of 10 program and project managers and oversaw a $12M+ portfolio of projects. In 2017, they joined Sensei Project Solutions as a Principal Consultant, and in 2018, they became a Client Success Manager at the same company.

Mark Read obtained a BA in English from Amherst College between 1980 and 1984. Prior to that, they attended Rye Country Day between 1976 and 1980. Mark also holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in June 2010, as well as a Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist certification from Microsoft.
