Chad Hicks has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and research. Chad is currently working as a Principal Algorithm Development Engineer at Senseonics, Incorporated, where they are responsible for developing a parallelized data-processing pipeline and machine learning models for blood glucose estimation error prediction. Prior to this, Chad worked at Raytheon for over 15 years, holding various roles such as Senior Systems Engineer II and Senior Systems Engineer I. During their time at Raytheon, they achieved significant accomplishments such as reducing manual labor through automation, improving product classification, prototyping methods for complex control algorithms, automating data mining and visualization, contributing to the success of a multi-million dollar program, and leading a team in resolving software issues.
