Regina Mahr

Regina Mahr has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and research. Regina started their career at Forschungszentrum Jülich in 2012 as a PHD Student and later became a Post-doc from April 2016 to December 2016. In 2017, they joined SenseUP Biotechnology as a Junior Scientist, specializing in RNA. Regina held this role until June 2019 when they were promoted to Junior Scientist - RNA. In January 2021, they were further promoted to the role of Senior Scientist - RNA at the same company. Additionally, in 2017, Regina briefly worked as a Scientific Associate at GO-Bio Project SenseUP.

Regina Mahr began their education at the University of Leeds in 2009, where they studied applied biotechnology, microbiology, and cell biology. Regina then transferred to The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in biology/biological sciences from 2007 to 2010. Regina continued their studies at the same university, completing their Master of Science degree in microbiology and cell biology from 2010 to 2012. Regina further pursued their education at the University of Düsseldorf, where they earned their Doctor of Natural Sciences degree in molecular biotechnology from 2012 to 2016.
