Dominik L.

Dominik L. has a range of experience in the field of research and development as well as data science. Dominik is currently working at Sensirion as a Team Lead in R&D Software, a role they have held since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Sensirion from October 2016 to March 2021. Before joining Sensirion, Dominik L. worked as a Research Scientist at URPP LightChEC, Chemistry and Physics Department, University of Zurich, where they focused on Solar Light to Chemical Energy Conversion from September 2015 to October 2016. Dominik began their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford Institute for Material and Energy Sciences at Stanford University and Stanford National Accelerator Laboratory (SLAC), where they worked from April 2013 to September 2015.

Dominik L. completed a CAS in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at the University of Zurich from 2007 to 2011. Dominik also obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Physics from the same university between 2004 and 2007. Dominik L. began their academic journey at the University of Zurich, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics, Mathematics, and Astronomy from 2001 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Dominik L. has obtained several certifications. Dominik completed courses such as "Sequence Models" and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" at Coursera in May 2019. Prior to that, in February 2019, they completed a course on "Convolutional Neural Networks." Dominik L. also holds certificates from the completion of courses like "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" in October 2018, and "Machine Learning" by Stanford University on Coursera in September 2018.
