Richard MacEiczyk

Richard Maceiczyk has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to 2022. Richard started their career as a JSPS Fellow at The University of Tokyo in 2014. Richard then became a PHD student at ETH Zürich from 2013 to 2016, followed by a position as a Postdoctoral Researcher at ETH Zürich from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Optotune as an Application Engineer until 2020, when they became a Junior Key Account Manager at Dottikon Exclusive Synthesis AG. In 2022, they moved to Sensirion, where they currently work as a Key Account Manager.

Richard Maceiczyk has an extensive education history. Richard obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Heidelberg University, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Richard then pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemistry at ETH Zürich from 2011 to 2013. During this time, they also conducted a Master Thesis at Nagoya University in the field of Chemistry from 2012 to 2013. Richard furthered their education by completing a Doctor of Science program in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at ETH Zürich from 2013 to 2016.

In 2017, Richard pursued a Certified Financial Specialist certification from FernUniversität in Hagen, specializing in Finance. Continuing their professional development, they completed the Applied Machine Learning program offered by Columbia Engineering in February 2019. Additionally, Richard obtained the Excel Skills for Business Specialization certification from Coursera in February 2020.

To add to their language skills, Richard obtained the HSK 4 - Mandarin Chinese level B2 certification from the Hanban Confucius Institute in December 2021.

Currently, Richard is furthering their business knowledge by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at IE Business School, expected to be completed in 2023.
