Sandra Drusová

Field Application Engineer at Sensirion

Sandra Drusová, PhD has extensive work experience in various research and engineering positions. Sandra is currently working as a Field Application Engineer at Sensirion. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Basel from June 2021 to July 2022.

Sandra's academic background includes a PhD in Sustainable Water Technology, during which they worked as a PhD Researcher at both Wetsus, European Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Water Technology, and the University of Twente from March 2016 to May 2020.

Before obtaining their PhD, Sandra held several research intern positions at Tohoku University, Meopta - optika, s.r.o., and Wetsus, Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Water Technology. Sandra also gained experience as a Co Organizer at WMESS 2015 and worked briefly as an IT Analyst at CEIT, a.s. in 2015.

Sandra Drusová, PhD has an extensive educational background in the field of optics/optical sciences. Sandra completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the University of Twente from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued their Master of Science (MSc) degree at Palacký University in Olomouc, where they studied from 2008 to 2014. Sandra gained an international experience as an ERASMUS student at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2011 to 2012.

In addition to their degrees, Sandra Drusová also holds a certification in "Phot1x: Silicon Photonics Design, Fabrication, and Data Analysis" from The University of British Columbia, which they obtained in March 2017.
