Greg Van Buskirk is the co-founder and chief scientist at Sensitive Home, a company that specializes in stain-repellent fabric softener. Prior to Sensitive Home, Greg founded and served as the chief technology officer at Nirvana Technology Inc., a company that developed a fabric softener that combined the benefits of stain blocking, softness, breathability, freshness, and wrinkle resistance into one product.

At Nirvana Technology, Greg led the team that hacked the current laundry system to apply the company's stain-repellent fabric softener. The product was well-received by consumers, who praised its effectiveness. Greg and their team then spent several months working to make the product more affordable and building a viable supply chain.

With Sensitive Home, Greg is continuing their mission to make prevention-based high performance laundry products part of the sustainability discussion. Greg is striving to make it easier for people to adopt eco-friendly laundry habits that will reduce their overall carbon footprint.

Greg Van Buskirk has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
