Alireza Mortezaei started their work experience in 2009 as an intern at AxiomFount, where they designed and developed LCD Device Drivers and integrated ADI's MPEG-4 Video Decoder. Alireza then worked as an intern at IBM, Algorithmics (an IBM Company), and BlackBerry, where they gained experience as a software developer and tester in embedded systems.
In 2013, Alireza interned at Cisco Systems as a Software Developer/Network Engineer. Alireza then worked at MosaixSoft, Inc. from 2015 to 2018 as a Software Engineer. During this time, they designed and implemented workload scheduler and resource manager microservices, created a Domain Specific Language, and designed a Docker security layer. Alireza also developed a CLI tool for customers.
From 2018 to 2020, Alireza worked at Rafay Systems as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented the Workload Placement microservice and an infrastructure abstraction layer using Terraform and Ansible.
Currently, Alireza is a Senior Software Engineer at Senso.ai, starting in 2020. In this role, they have architected an event-driven machine learning platform and designed and implemented the Dispatch Service microservice.
Overall, Alireza has a strong background in software engineering with expertise in microservices, workload scheduling, resource management, and infrastructure abstraction.
Alireza Mortezaei completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering at the University of Waterloo from 2007 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master of Applied Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in networks and security, also at the University of Waterloo from 2012 to 2014.
