Joren Schiks

Joren Schiks is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in embedded software development. Currently, Joren works at Sensorfy since May 2023, while also holding a software engineer position at Airios since April 2021, where Joren specializes in programming and configuring chips using C. Joren completed a graduation project at Altran in 2021, focused on designing a system for detecting, localizing, and classifying bats. Previous experience includes internships at Sue B.V., researching the application of domotic platforms for meeting rooms, and ZEPCAM, where Joren conducted studies to improve video streaming. Joren began a career as a technical consultant for Studentaanhuis, assisting clients with computer-related issues. Joren earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Technical Computer Science from Fontys Hogeschool Eindhoven between 2013 and 2021.
