Jose Eduardo Suarez (He/Him/His) has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Jose Eduardo began their career as an Engineering Intern at EP PETROECUADOR, where they provided technical support for refinery units and contributed to process optimization, troubleshooting, and data analysis. Jose Eduardo also developed area classification drawings and updated electrical maintenance records.

After that, Jose worked as a Student Intern at Empresa Eléctrica Pública de Guayaquil, where they assisted electrical engineers and technicians in completing outage reports, installations, and testing. Jose Eduardo provided technical directions to field support and maintenance groups and conducted analysis of the Transmission and Distribution Network.

Later, they joined Jacobs Engineering as a Control Systems Engineer. In this role, Jose worked on various projects related to control systems. Jose Eduardo contributed to process optimization and project implementation within a specified timeline.

Currently, Jose works at Xylem Inc. as an Engineering Global Technical Lead. Jose Eduardo'sexpertise and leadership skills allow him to effectively manage global engineering projects and provide technical guidance to their team.

Throughout their career, Jose has acquired professional certifications such as P.E., PMP®, M.Sc., and CSM, which further enhance their technical and project management abilities.

Jose Eduardo Suarez (He/Him/His) has a diverse education history. Jose Eduardo began their academic journey in 2007 at the University of New Orleans, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, graduating in 2010. Additionally, during their time at the University of New Orleans, they also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, which they completed in 2011.

Jose then went on to further their education at The Johns Hopkins University, where they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Technical and Engineering Management from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they attended the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering from 2010 to 2012 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

In terms of certifications, Jose has achieved several notable accomplishments. Jose Eduardo obtained their Professional Engineer certification from the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board (LAPELS) in December 2018, and prior to that, they obtained their Engineer Intern certification from the same institution in June 2011. Jose Eduardo also holds certifications from the Scrum Alliance, including Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) achieved in December 2020 and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) achieved in January 2021. In December 2020, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

In addition to their academic and professional certifications, Jose has obtained the Fundamentals of Project Planning and Management certification from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in February 2019. Jose Eduardo also holds an Innovation and Technology Fellow certification from Xylem Inc., obtained in March 2018. Furthermore, they completed the IDEO - Storytelling for Influence course provided by IDEO in October 2017. Lastly, they obtained the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in February 2013.
