Lawrence Fong

Lawrence Fong is a Board Member at Senti Biosciences. Lawrence previously worked as a Research Associate II at Omniox from May 2018 to November 2020, where they investigated potential hypoxia biomarkers for the oncology program using immunofluorescence on mammalian cell cultures, assisted in data archaeology and tabulation of regulatory study reports for IND-enabling activities, examined RNAseq data from dog samples for differential gene expression and gene set enrichment analysis, and managed tissue culture facility. Before that, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Yi Zuo Lab from June 2016 to June 2017, where they examined synaptic dynamics of mice in vivo during selective deletion of the FMR1 gene, classified dendritic spine number and density with ImageJ, optimized tissue clearing protocols for staining brain sections, and managed laboratory functions including organization, and maintenance of equipment use.
