Irene Hougard

Irene Hougard began their career in 2021 as a Software Engineer at SentiAR. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Developer at Epic from 2019-2021 and as a Computer Engineer (BS Level) Summer Intern at Medtronic from 2018-2019. During their time at Medtronic, they developed augmented and virtual reality prototypes, using Unity for the Microsoft HoloLens, to provide physicians with 3D views of CT images. Irene also presented the prototypes to physicians and market development specialists, as well as developed a virtual reality demo that was used in Medtronic’s virtual reality rooms across the company.

Irene Hougard completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Minnesota between 2015 and 2018. Prior to that, they earned their High School Diploma at Kettle Moraine High School between 2011 and 2015.
