Carmela Escarez

Carmela Escarez is an experienced recruiter and educator with a strong background in talent acquisition and support for underrepresented groups. Currently serving as a University Recruiter for the Global Internship Program at SentinelOne since August 2022, Carmela focuses on redefining cybersecurity through advanced technology solutions. Prior experience includes roles at OneReq as an Organizing Committee Member, BitGo as an Early Talent Recruiter, Robinhood as a University Recruiter, and ScholarMatch as a College Advisor, where Carmela supported first-generation college students. Additional positions include Client Services at Paul Hastings and various roles at UCLA, including Academic Counselor and Data Analyst Intern. Carmela holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies and Political Science from UCLA and has further education in Public Policy from UC Berkeley.
