Shatak Jain

Shatak Jain is a Senior Malware Detection Researcher at SentinelOne since April 2024 and also serves as a Mentor at Preplaced from January 2024. Previously, Shatak worked at Zscaler as a Security Researcher-II from July 2022 to April 2024, where responsibilities included dissecting and reverse engineering malwares, authoring Yara detections, and tracking the threat landscape. Other roles include Research Scientist at Trellix and FireEye, Inc., where Shatak focused on security research, reverse engineering, and analysis of endpoint product alerts. Shatak holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, completed in 2019, and has a strong foundation in cyber security trends and malware detection.
