Venu Vissamsetty

Venu Vissamsetty currently serves as VP of Engineering at SentinelOne since May 2022, bringing extensive experience in security and software development from previous roles. Prior to SentinelOne, Venu held the position of VP Security Research at Attivo Networks from February 2014 to May 2022, contributing to a network security startup. Venu's career at McAfee spanned from July 2001 to February 2014, where roles included Director of Software Development, focusing on advanced threat defense and dynamic malware analysis, as well as Sr Software Manager and Sr Software Engineer, contributing to the IntruShield intrusion prevention engine and developing features for the IPS product. Venu holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Osmania University.
