Tanya Hedley

Tanya Hedley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in regulatory compliance, management, and engineering within the energy and utility sectors. Currently serving as Director of Regulatory Compliance at Regulatory Affairs since September 2024, Tanya previously held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Price Controls and Director of Networks at Utility Regulator NI, where significant achievements included defending price controls at the Competition and Market Authority. As Chair and Board Member at Sentinus, and Senior Lecturer at South Eastern Regional College, Tanya contributes to industry development and education. With a strong academic background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Queen's University Belfast and an MSc in Electricity Supply Industry Management and Technology from the University of Strathclyde, Tanya has consistently emphasized regulatory efficiency and compliance across various utility sectors in Northern Ireland.
